Are gas prices the only thing we have to worry about?

Iran. Yep. We're still talking about it. Hopefully, we won't be talking about it for much longer, but it's hard to know what to think or how this thing is going. It could be the worst thing to happen to our country in a decade, or it could be over next week. Understanding the why we're there and what's coming are two important things to consider regarding this conflict. There is a lot of propaganda around it, and we've got to be discerning. I think it's safe to say no one is too thrilled with what's happening. It's splitting the base and endangering the midterms. But God is on the throne.

The GOP is stealing your voice and vote

Today, we're bringing it local because I'm willing to bet what's happening here in deep red Tennessee is happening where you live as well. The GOP is worse than the Democrats when it comes to entrenched establishment RINOs. We've got proof. Both of us were kicked off the GOP local executive board over a year ago because we failed to vote in a primary election where the incumbent was running unopposed. That disqualified us under their new bylaws. The real reason we were removed was because we're loyal to people and not party. Well, it's happened again. One of our local state candidates was removed from the ballot here despite meeting every requirement stated in the bylaws. The GOP can take off whoever they want for whatever reason. Did you know that? It's time you did because it's happening where you live too.

To strike Iran or not to strike Iran, is that the question?

Today, we're diving into the why behind this war in a new way. We've both come a long way on how we view this conflict and it's perhaps different than the position we've taken in the past. Is it as simple as Israel is to blame or Trump has sold us out? I don't think so. I believe, we've found ourselves in this position because of decades of bad decisions and an unwillingness to confront the corruption that's been taking hold for a long time. It's not so much a question of whether we should have bombed Iran, it's a matter of what other options do we have? And as a micro example, we also have a discussion about homeschooling and how we prepare our kids for an unknowable future.

Should we cheer on ICE?

One of our biggest criticisms of the left is their inability to stay philosophically consistent, but are we guilty of it too? How long did it take the right to move from hating the federal government agents who were radding J6er's houses in the middle of the night, to cheering on the ones who are collecting people off the street? I'm not saying we don't need someone to do what ICE is doing, but we have to be careful to recognize the power of propaganda and how easy it is for us to be manipulated. They can get us to hate them one minute and love them the next and that's not a good thing. We are getting too hyper-focused on these emotional incidents, and we're forgetting the bigger problem. This whole issue of mass illegal immigration is on our hands. We have been too passive as Christians and citizens, too disengaged, too uninformed, too self-consumed... that we now have massive problems and no good solutions. It's time for something to change.

Are we trying to outrun the crash of the dollar?

Greenland has been a hot topic recently. We keep talking about it. The picture is finally starting to come together. This could be an attempt to grow our GDP to outpace our debt. If that's the case, Greenland and Venezuela are only the beginning. The AI revolution and the industry it will create is also part of the solution. This could be one last-ditch effort to save the dollar.

We also talk about Minnesota and what's happening there. Why are we focused there and not on California or somewhere else? Should we look at denaturalizing citizens as part of the immigration moratorium? Lots to consider.

Election night: Republicans have some work to do

What a blue bath. It's not that these races were competitive, but it's always disappointing (and important) to see how much work we still have in front of us. It's not enough to just vote for Trump. We have to be educated and engaged citizens. That's the BEST and EASIEST way to take back this country. The alternative is unthinkable.

We discuss the races that did not go our way and their implications — specifically, Prop 50 in California and the mayoral race in New York. And we look at Jay Jones and the political violence condoned and justified by the left. It's a sad day in America, but it's not nearly as tragic as it will be if we continue down the path we're on.

Can you be a black conservative woman? Can you recover from a severe case of TDS? Is it possible to recognize when you've been indoctrinated into thinking you're oppressed and a victim? If so, how? We talk to our friend Nyisha Chu about why she left the left and joined the less than 2% of black women who vote Republican and hold conservative viewpoints. She has had quite the awakening and shares her story about how Covid opened her eyes, causing her to be embarrassed by the party she'd been loyal to her whole adult life. Her Instagram platform has exploded since she started sharing her story and educating her audience.

Are the kids okay? Ole Miss TPUSA campus stop review

We took a homeschool day and headed down to Oxford, Mississippi, to attempt to attend the Turning Point USA campus stop at Ole Miss. Erika Kirk and Vice President JD Vance were speakers. And despite waiting in line, in the rain for hours, the students took all 9000 seats in the largest arena of any campus tour stop yet. They had to turn away some students, and no general admission was allowed in. That is a great sign. So even though we didn't get in, we did get to experience the event's energy firsthand, and we also watched it live and shared our takeaways.

Homesteading! We walk through our journey of prepping and what that has looked like in different seasons of our life. When we didn't own a home, prepping was a little more challenging. But we knew the ultimate destination was to be on land. We share our testimony and the ways God moved in our circumstances to bring us to our current property in Middle Tennessee. And we're not the only ones. God is moving plenty of people from out of state to this area with similar goals.
