Even if you do believe that, can you also believe that by placing your life in God's hands your will not only see His victory ... but also share in it?

But abandoning yourself to God and placing your life into His hands for His glory and His purposes ... is the wisest thing you can ever do!

Scary? Not when you consider that the fear of God is the key to an incredible treasure provided by Him for you.

As this world spins increasingly out of control, and many believers find their faith in God and His promises beginning to waver, only those who truly know God and love Him with their entire being will be able to stand ... while others waver and their love grows cold.

My prayer, as we go through this year together, is that your heart will be open to receive all that is in my heart ... so that, together, we will give God the desire of His heart.

But the hope God gives is always about sure things. It is not about what might take place, but what will take place. “…faith is being sure of what we hope for”.

Whenever God forgives, He also lovingly cleanses us from our sins. Only then can our personal relationship with Him be truly restored.

Jesus was unequivocal about this: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.”

Yet, Jesus came into this world to destroy the devil's work and to set his captives free. He made God known, He suffered and died for our sins and rose from the dead - breaking the devil's hold over humanity and opening up the way back to God for us all.

When you come to Jesus, you don't just change your lifestyle ... you are transformed into the person God created you to be.

You can embrace the thrill of living with God and for God every day, if you will make HIM your security!

Does God gives us previews of our future, so that we know the road ahead ... or does He invite us to rely on Him alone?

In this episode, I begin by sharing what God showed me about that when I was 21 - and what that means to me now ... 62 years later.

But can any of us really live for God within the limitations of these mortal bodies that grow old and die - while also having to contend with the difficulties and challenges in our lives?

We need to talk about that too!

How close did He come to aborting His mission? Did Jesus even have a choice? Or was He a 'cosmic conscript' - compelled to do God's will?

What about you? What does God's will mean to you personally? Many Christians talk about it, pray about it, sing about it ... and read about it in their Bibles. But how do you know God's will for your life - and how do you feel about doing it?

You were created by God to believe Him, to know Him and to love Him. You were also created to live fearlessly!

If you are searching for ways to cope with your fears, as you struggle to rise above them and not be pushed around by them - your quest will be fruitless and endless. But if you will take your eyes off your fears and abandon yourself to God, you will discover the power of perfect love!

Having already laid down His life for you, Jesus invites you to let go of your own personal desires and ambitions and place your life into His hands. This is the only way you can know your own true purpose and experience true fulfilment.

But you must also count the cost - because you cannot do this without also giving up your right to yourself.

The decision will always be yours!

It is also impossible to respond to God in faith unless you know what He is saying to you. 

So how can you know when God has spoken to you? Is there a formula … a technique? Is there some surefire, foolproof way to know?

Yes there is, and it’s all to do with what exists between you and God … as we will see here, from the story of Abraham.

But how does this happen? Is it by learning more about Him? Does it mean reading more, listening to more preaching and trying really hard to apply it all to your life? Not really. Above everything else, it is about reaching out to Him - directly and personally. That's how you come to know Him for who He really is to you.

Jesus promised that if you believe in Him and seek Him with all your heart, you will get to know God.

The ones Jesus chose as His disciples were very ordinary people. They were not theologians, not spiritual leaders, not elite in any way at all. Yet He gave them the gift that only He can give anybody ... the gift of eternal life. Not just 'a ticket to Heaven' - but the relationship with God that Adam lost when he disobeyed God!

But God also calls you to give all of yourself to Him - making Him the only the source of your life, and the very reason for your existence.

When you live like that - being totally dependent on God - you can expect Him to speak to you, to guide you, and to literally be everything you need ... all of the time and in every situation.

And that's where you experience the exhilaration and deep joy of living a life of faith!

His purpose in making made Adam – and you – in His own image, was to have someone with whom He could enjoy the deepest, richest, most loving relationship. 

This is what you were made for, it is what God wants with you ... and it's also what I want for you. Which is why I have launched this podcast!

I originally used 'Led Into Love' as the title of my book about the way God led me to make a journey to Moscow in 1970. Not only was that a thrilling faith adventure, but it also became a major turning-point in my life — through which I was changed from a servant into a lover.

That journey was also the beginning of a personal love relationship with God which has only grown deeper and richer over the years. As I keep responding to Him in love, He keeps taking me ever further into the sheer joy of loving Him with my whole being.

You too can know the reality of being a true lover of God - if only you will freely and willingly abandon yourself to Him ... with all your heart, mind, soul and strength!

Jesus said: “The greatest commandment is that you shall love the Lord your God with all your mind, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. There is no greater commandment than this.”
